WARRANTY INFORMATION

Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Standard Limited Warranty Parts specified as covered underneath Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. Standard Warranty will be warranted against defects for a period of 99 days from the date of sale. This part(s) warranty is limited to replacement of parts or refund of sale price (at the discretion of Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc) only. This warranty does not include incidental damages, consequential damages, (additional expenses) or labor either installation, repair, or removal; which you may incur as the result of a defective part or incompetent installation. Warranties are not to altered by verbal agreements all conditions must be on hard copy to be valid. A copy of the original sales receipt must be present to validate warranty. Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. is not responsible nor will provide an additional copy of sales receipt. Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. is also not responsible for towing charges, fluids, refrigerant, gas, filters, lay-up time, lodging, car or truck rental, or any other substitute transportation, telephone or telegraph charges, travel, injury, or damage to persons, personal property, commercial loss, normal diagnostic time, loss of revenue or other matters not specifically included. Engines and Transmissions Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. recommends to all installers whether it be professional or novice installers that they take the time and added expense to check and replace: Timing belt or chain, Seals, Sensors, Belts, Thermostat, Filter, and all other wear items that may prevent the product from a long life. Disassembly of any part other than recommended wear items will result in loss of warranty. Alternative fuels such as propane, nitrous oxide or biodiesel will also void a warranty. Furthermore, Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. reminds all installers that all drive train parts are sold without the fluids of the part(s) and recommends that you check fluids before operation of the vehicle. Lack of fluids will void warranty. Race and/or Hot Rod Applications Customer(s) of Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. who use parts in a modified state and/or not according to the direct application the part was intended for will void said warranty. Body Parts and Glass Al’s foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. guarantees the fit of all sheet metal parts and guarantees that parts will not corrode for a one year period. Glass is guaranteed to be the correct application, but is sold on an “AS IS“ basis. Glass should be inspected thoroughly by customer(s) before purchase to verify no chips, cracks, breaks or abnormalities.
Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. warranties all electrical parts on a replacement basis. Al’s Foreign will only replace the part in question and has the ability to deny replacement part at any time. Cores and Refunds Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. will only accept core returns and/or not-warranty part returns within the first 30 days of purchase unless previously agreed upon between the salesman and the customer. All core charges and/or conditional warranties will void on 31st day after purchase unless already agreed upon. All accepted parts returned at buyers discretion, not under warranty, are subject to a 25% restocking fee and no electrical and Glass will be accepted. No warranty may be altered by oral modification all changes must be in writing and be added as and addendum. This warranty does not apply to normal maintenance or adjustments, normal wear due to working conditions, failure of associated parts, components and assemblies not included in the sales of the used engine, used engines which have been damaged by improper installation, accident, misuse, or neglect.
Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. in trying to better serve our customers has instituted our extended parts and labor warranties which can be purchased additionally at the time of purchase on select parts. These various selected parts have met qualifications that Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. has set to protect you our customer and our installers from an unsatisfactory experience. Our Qualifications on these parts are: Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. reserves the right to deny the extend warranty to certain manufacturers and/or models of vehicle that have proven to be unreliable. Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. to insure a quality of installation of our parts under our extended parts and labor warranties has selected a small group of repair facilities that can meet the needs of any vehicle and will maintain the high standards that Al‘s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. has tried to provide in our parts. There is a list of these Repair Facilities attached to this warranty in Appendix B. They have been carefully chosen for their expertise and their customer service to best serve you the customer. Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. has no involvement in the cost of the initial installation. That is between the Repair Facility and you the customer. Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. must also inform you who customers that choose to install parts themselves or have an unlisted Repair Facility install the parts are not eligible for these warranties. Silver Star Warranty Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. is proud to offer this our Silver Star Warranty which is a 6 month Limited Parts and Labor extended warranty. The Silver Star Warranty takes Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc.’s Standard Warranty and extends coverage for an additional 90 days and will cover a portion of any labor costs needed due to an unforeseen parts failure. A pricing guide for the cost of the additional warranties are in Appendix A of this form. Gold Star Warranty Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc. is proud to offer this our Gold Star Warranty which is a 1 year Limited Parts and Labor extended warranty. The Gold Star Warranty takes Al’s Foreign Auto Salvage and Sales Inc.’s Standard Warranty and extends coverage for an entire year and will cover a portion of any labor costs needed due to an unforeseen parts Failure.
